GMTV

Poor beyond most peoples ability to comprehend.

I think one of the best examples of this is when Pete Burns was on Celebrity Big brother. When it was revealed that Pete's coat was made from monkey fur, GMTV actually had a reporter in a zoo looking at monkeys to see if they looked like Pete's coat. Genius.

GMTV is Scottish TV, so send it to Scotland.

They have that terrible presenter, Lorraine Kelly (a Scot), Lyn Foulds Wood (a Scot), the Weather girl (a Scot), and notice how the weather chart always has more time on Scotland!

Any adviser on GMTV will probably be Scottish, and Scottish MP's are always on.

We always see some part of Scotland during the morning, so please, take GMTV and stick it on a Scottish channel, then can we have a better show where we can all understand the English accent.

I think GMTV is appalling. It has the perfect balance of banal commentary and insipid presenters to make getting up in the morning even more painful. I switched on by mistake today and was reminded afresh as to why I never bother to watch the drivel. Staying with the channel to watch the football reports covering Liverpool's win over AC Milan, I witnessed the rather embarrassing attempt at, at best, comedy which saw presenters and reporter donning curly, Harry Enfield-esque wigs and moustaches in a nod to an outdated stereotype. Liverpool is probably the friendliest and most open city in the UK and far from keeping scouseers in a box from where they can be poked fun at for their silly accent and ways, the southern-based director-presenters-reporter team showed the Liverpudlians to be magnanimous and themselves to be reactionary and closed-minded. PS I'm not from Liverpool but had four happy years in that great city.

I wake up to GMTV every weekday morning, I think it is quite informative and has the right balance of serious issues, and more light-hearted entertainment.

I loved the inch loss diets; I found it was motivating to others especially the last one, as they centred on specific body shapes.

Having a Doctor on the program is a great idea too, he looks at the good and bad points of treatments which help you decide for yourself. Lorraine Kelly is the icing on the cake; she gives great fashion and health advice and appeals to everyone. Great program!
