Peavey UL15 1X15H

The Peavey name has taken a bashing in recent years but I have found that when used for live music applications they have still been making very good speakers.

The UL 15's are clear and detailed but without sounding harsh at the top end even when pushed hard. Bass is warm and smooth and there is a good deal of quality to the mid range to.

That said the warm bass that makes live performances so nice to listen to can hinder fast paced dance and club music, the Peavey's just cant seam to keep up.

I would have to say that for those who want more bass the UL series subs work very well as a complete system and would get 5 stars for sound when used together.

Overall these are good speakers for live sound but if you are wanting something for a club or disco then there are better out there.
