I Bought Two More Of These, Shortly After The Firs

I bought two more of these, shortly after the first one. I play guitar, and ukulele with three different Hawaiian groups. My past genres include rock, blues, rockabbily, bluegrass and country. All the above styles play comfortably, through this amp. The closed back design produces deep bass, for it's small size. I was looking for a way to amplify a ukulele, by battery power. There's a lot of amps in this category and I either own, or have played through them all.

The first time I tried one was in a Guitar Center using an Ovation acoustic guitar, since they did not have an electric uke available. I was pleasantly surprized at how well it handled the low end notes. We plugged in a microphone and I played the guitar, while singing. This was another pleasant surprize, as the vocals and guitar were both loud and clean.

This amp weighs only 8 pounds, with the batteries installed, so it can be carried in your luggage without taking too much away from your airline weight allowance. The small size of 10.51"W x 7.05"D x 10.51H does not take up a lot of space, either.

I have used a guitar on the main input, a CD player through the AUX and a microphone through the MIC all at the same time and it works great under that load.

If you ever thought about busking (street performing), add one of these to your arsenal!
