Gallien-krueger 700RB

Great Amp I have own this amp for 1 year,,, plenty of power and sounds great,,, have only one beef the wheels need to be made of harder material i am on my second set and if they sent the same ones i will need a third set...

Do not get this amp GK 700RB w/2x12 Neo Cabinet if you already have a rig. It's not high-end equipment. I unfortunately found all this out after trading in my AMpeg SVT III Pro head with SWR 4x10 Goliath III. Even though my Ampeg was kind of heavy to carry around to gigs, it sounds much better than the GK 700RB + 2x12 Neo Cab that I now have. Plus when I first got the rig it had a blown tweeter (bi-amp) output and sent 40 DC Volts to the tweeter in the 2x12 Neo cabinet and blew it out of course. Needless to say the warranty covered it but it took over one month to get the rig back and meanwhile I had to jump through hoops of fire to figure out a method and rig to use for all the gigs I had to play without my new GK rig. Also, the castor bearings all fell out of the castor bearing housing so the wheels suck. Bottom line: GK 700RB IS NOT PRO LEVEL GEAR and if you have a rig already that's not broken and sounds good do not even consider the GK. Go with Aguillar, or David Eden, or even Ampeg.

I love this amp. It is my first high end model amp ever. It sounds soooo good but I need help moving it cause the wheels don't work. (83 lbs) The sound is the best, the service not so much. If you love a clear beautiful sound, have a good medical plan and don't mind being ignored by service people get this amp.
