Fender Super Champ

I love this amp. This thing rocks. The configuration I use is a Fat Strat (bridge humbucker) straight into the Super Champ XD and then line out to a clean channeled Marshall AVT 30 w/ 12" closed cabinet speaker to get the lower punchier tones. All I can say is that I'm very happy with it. No pedals necessary, lots of great tone, can gig with this setup, can practice with this setup.

Upgraded the tubes to JJ's and the speaker to a Ragin' Cajun Patriot. The Super Champ XD has lots of versatility and kick for less than 300 bucks -- it kind of functions as a 15 w all tube HEAD for me rather than just a combo -- very cool. I wouldn't be surprised to see the price go up on this one in the future. Well done Fender.

Great amp for the money. You can really drop some dough on 10"-12" tube amps, new or used. I had low expectations for the dirtier tones, since it's a Fender tube amp. My favorite sound involves quality analog pedals with clean Fender amps, but I might actually use some of its own dirty tones. I am well pleased with the purchase.
