Powell Aurumite 9k Flute

A amazing flute with a beautiful sound, and the quality one comes to expect from Powell. I love tone of the silver and gold-- it's has the roundness of gold with the shimmer and projection of silver. If you have the money, it's definitely worth giving a try. There is a beautiful connection between every note from low B to high C. The upper register sings, and the high C speaks with ease--without use of the gizmo key. The lower register is nice and full and it articulates clearly and crisply. Plus, it is easy to maintain the same color throughout all three registers. Changing tonal colors is a breeze, as is executing all dynamics, from ppp to fff. What a gorgeous instrument! I'm so happy I found it. Aurumite is a genius invention, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

The Powell Aurumite 9k flute sounds as good as it looks! The aurumite metal is great, and it looks awesome! It is great value! Buy this one!! The registers are even, and mine hasn't needed to be repaired for 2 years!
