This Was My Second Guitar And I Will Definitely Ne

This was my second guitar and I will definitely NEVER sell it. It sounds and looks amazing, it is much better than any other mexican made strat i've ever played.

The neck is my favorite part, it is fast but still feels significant in your hand.

Tex-Mex pups are actually really good sounding, which suprised me. They're probably a mix between Texas Specials and the '54's, very vintage-sounding and twangy, sound amazing through a tubescream and clean.

It has a vintage bridge which is cool, the only thing is that it tends to go out of tune with tremelo use, but if you use the tremelo a lot this isn't really the instrument for you.

The finish is great, nothing else like it. It's pretty heavy though.

Positions 2 and 4 have unique sounds for a strat, I use them a lot, they also cancel-out the 50's-cycle hum.

Overall it's a great guitar that will last you for life, i've never had any problems with it besides the neck needing a little tweak of the truss rod every year.

The Firdt Thing Peoplr Grt Confused About Is What

The firdt thing peoplr grt confused about is what is a 60th Anniversary Strat. If you do not have a guitar that is Blizzard Pearl, maple board, Tex Mex pickups, and vintage frets, you do not have one. Other Strats have 60th Anniversary on them because it is the 60th anniversary of Fender.

The pickups are very good. The neck is a monster, and positions two and four give nice, glassy cleans. The bridge tends to be very harsh and I rrecommend wiring for tone control for the bridge pickup. With some dirt that sound great, even with higher gain.

Build quality and finish is superb. The only thing I didn't like, and this is peronal taste, was the maple board so I replaced the neck. Those not familiar with vintage frets may take some time to get used to them, especially if you use jumbo or extra jumbo frets.

I gave it four stars over all because I feel like the tone mod for the bridge should be standard for these pickups. Other than that, this is a beautiful guitar that sounds great, and I have gigged it many times with zero problems.

I Tried This Fender Standard 60th Anniversary Stra

I tried this Fender Standard 60th Anniversary Stratocaster guitar out and to be honest- I didn't expect too much. It's a mexican strat right? Well, let me put it like this- this thing absolutely sings! It's a tad heavy but the sustain is just amazing. The neck is one of the most beautiful 'alive' maple necks I've seen and plays real smooth. If you can get hold of one used, buy it! I play it through my Marshall JCM 800 2203 100w head and it's the perfect match. Both clean and distorted. Mainly play blues/rock.
