Epiphone Flying V

I still wonder what's the big difference between an Epiphone and an actual Gibson Flying V. The feel and weight of the guitar feel almost the same and the humbuckers and overall finish is also just about the same. Even the type of wood used on the Epiphone model feels just like the Gibson. And all this at a really affordable price (for a Gibson guitar, anyway!). I was tempted to change the pick ups but a guy at a guitar shop told me to try them out first. I was used to the full rage tone of the emg 81, which I have installed on another guitar. I was nicely surprised when I heard the tone that these stock pick ups produced when plugged into my Marshall 100 watt combo. I later tried it through a Digitech multi FX and sounded even more biting. What's more; this Epiphone model has complete access to all 21 frets, unlike an original Gibson Flying V, which has a harder to reach 21st fret.

The Epiphone Flying V looks awesome but has bad balance and it awkward to sit down with. Overall, i think it's a rubbish guitar.

Nice sound, value for money, looks real cool. I have one and it's great overall.

This is a cool guitar. It has a great design and looks very good when playing it in front of people or on stage. The only one downside is it is very difficult to sit down with and play. Overall, it's a great guitar.

I think that the Epiphone Flying V Electric Guitar has a great design, and it has a great feel when played. It is a good guitar for starters with an intention to play rock and classic rock.
