It Rocked

Purest *&5$#@*& heads will say a lot of garbage about it but, I too have been playing 30 + years and I recorded some very awesome stuff with it. I've made it my go to guitar because ...well lets face it when you're getting up there in age...well the hands are the first to go when you've been playing so long. So it's kinda junior sizing is a bonus when you have to step down from the wider necks. But even before that happened for me. It was a great axe to play on. From little wing to well hell Trooper or Wrath-child, or Misty, or Cest Si Bon, it's a fine axe. And I loved all the wide range of tones the amp gave me. Lets face it there are players with their heads so far up their %$#@& who are the "purists" self proclaimed .. but if you really play everything and have been able to play everything ..and have played with and for real greats...all you are looking for is play-ability and sound. And this kit has a very good mix of both.

Good Guitar In Experienced Hands

I have my pack for about 4 years now. Black. i have about 20 years of playing experience. The 15 W amp is of course not meant for gigs but for practicing. Any experienced player should know that no 15 W amp will ever be heard above the drums. The amp is excellent in all sounds from clean to distorted. Of course there is virtually no headroom in such a small amp, so the cleans will be at low volume. The sound quality of the amp is very good and if you know how, you can model almost any amp. I own a number of amps including a Fender 212R, Vox30, Marshall MG102 and a Fender Mustang III V2 100W etc. Well, for the guitar itself first you need a quality strap, cable and picks. If you are an old guitar player, you surely already have these. I have of course over time tweaked this guitar to suit my playing - .010 - .046 strings for perfect intonation, action height to 3/64th at 12th fret, kept the Pus, and man, does that guitar sing! At the end of the day, folks! The best guitar in the world in the hands of a novice will sound bad and vice versa. For one or the other reason, this guitar of mine sounds better than some of my more expensive guitars. And it's really good when I play it on the Fender amps.

Decent If You're On A Budget

the guitar itself is not too shabby if plugged into a decent amp. I wouldn't recommend it as a guitar for playing gigs but a practice session maybe. it does have a unusually deep sound which can be used to your advantage if you're going to play rock or grunge. the amp that comes with the package is terrible so get another one. like a car, you get what you pay for . if you have more cash get a cort or even a squire. otherwise 8f you're on a budget then this is not a bad buy at all.

The Guitar Looks Ok But Is Bordeline Useless. It C

The guitar looks OK but is bordeline useless. It can ble used in a way after changing the strings, filing the frets and buying a new cable, but won't stay in tune more than five minutes. Tremolo is a disaster. BUT: The amp is not bad for the price. One extra star for the amp.

Overall This Is A Pretty Excellent Guitar If It On

Overall this is a pretty excellent guitar if it only had a fixed bridge and string-through option ala-Tele. Also I prefer tighter pickup cavities so the swimming pool cav is a no-no, but then I guess it gives the guitar a very semi-hollowish tone which I actually love, I am just afraid of feedback. The pick ups are quiet, and with two pups selected it can be used effectively for tight distortions. I still don't know what wood was used for the body but hey, it's light and resonates well (try it unplugged). The tuners are not of great quality but these can hold strings well since I don't use the rem bar anyway.I have already dismantled the whole guitar to see its parts and the more I come to know it, the more I become attached to this guitar. Sounds clean but can crank up any amp when used for drives and dist.I have a semi-hollow tele too, so I know. I have used some LPs and I don't like the necks and weight. The body of this guitar is really light, perfect for on-stage gigs. The saddles are not sharp. I can gig with this without back-up believe me, and it can hold up to a lot of abuse. I am looking forward to staining the pickguard, pups, and knobs to a yellowish tan to make it vintage.

Let's Face It - Behringer Is Mostly Known For It's

Let's face it - Behringer is mostly known for it's sound systems and amps etc. The Behringer V Tone electric guitar they sell is better than a lot of beginner-pack electric guitars, but don't go in expecting a Strat just because it looks like one. That being said, the bang for your buck is pretty high -- the little amp really rocks, and the gig bag is handy etc. I paid $100 US for this, and I am extremely satisfied. I just wish the axe held it's tune a little better, had a better action, was able to keep it's intonation -- all these things I had done professionally, and the guy told me straight up that I had a bargain, but I'd probably want to upgrade after a year. He was right! The amp stays though.

This Pack At Rock Bottom Prices Is Astounding. The

This pack at rock bottom prices is astounding. The amp knocks spots off all other starter amps and is good enough for performance. The guitar sounds at least as good as the squire if not better. Have just ordered another one for number 2 son. Enough said.
