Now, whatcha gotta do is this: get a matching 8", 10", 18" or 20" [?], remove the bottom hoops and head, etc, so you can play EVIDENCE OF AUTUMN, BURNING ROPE, IN THE CAGE (Three Sides Live version), and MAMA! Ha ha-ha! Lol! All the best with your quality vintage kit of yesteryears days of old. :-....-)

NOw, if you remove the bottom heads and hoops, and add two extra toms (8" & 10"), and a 18" or 20" [?] floor tom, then you can play Evidence Of Autumn, Burning Rope, 'In The Cage drum' solo on THREE SIDES LIVE ALBUM, and MAMA. Ha ha-ha... Lol!

Bought A Dlx Art Blakey 3 Piece Kit At The End Of

Bought a DLX Art Blakey 3 piece kit at the end of the 80's. Still got it today, even though I don't play anymore. Can't part with them. Beautiful kit in sequoia red finish. Great kick for a small 18 inch bass drum and it recorded very well. A good all round kit for different styles. Even though it's essentially a jazz kit it cuts through for heavier funk and rock.

Ive Played Every Kind Of Drums Under The Sun (tama

Ive played every kind of drums under the sun (Tama,DW,Mapex, ludwig and also a lot of other pearl brands) and also have owned many other and ive always gone back to the Pearl DLX.....Such a nice warm sound with lots of low end....the bass drum is a cannon. I don't have the snare that came with it but the shells will always be in my starting line up.

I Own This Kit And It's In The Jazz Sizes- 18" Bas

I own this kit and it's in the jazz sizes- 18" bass, 12" tom, 14" floor tom and 16" floor tom. The quality sound and look of this kit make it a truly great kit to own. The bass is powerful and the toms are full bodied and punchy. My kit has been well looked after and the build quality means I will still be playing it for many years to come. Great kit.

Great/ versatile sound. Look good. But don't fit in drum cases very well. Overall, sturdy professional drums.

Traded My Vdrums For This Monster From The Eightie

Traded my Vdrums for this MONSTER from the eighties. Have a ten piece kit with toms from 8" to 18". Has a "Killer" matching snare and a 22" kick all done in walnut and high gloss finish. They are in very good condition for their age. I'm looking to sell them now that my real job is in question.

I Recently Bought My 6 Pc. Pearl Session Dlx Kit U

I recently bought my 6 pc. Pearl Session DLX kit used from a friend who had bought them just days before at a pawn shop. He only charged me what he gave for them which was $400 US and that included all the necessary mounting hardware plus all kinds of extras, like a good cymbal stand and hi-hat stand, an ok double pedal and a good snare stand. Now, I almost feel bad because I feel like I robbed him. I've owned a number of kits over the years from different manufacturers and this is the best sounding kit I've ever owned. Awesome!

Dad Bought Me A Set For Graduation In 85. Been Wit

Dad bought me a set for graduation in 85. Been with me ever since. Hundreds of shows, dozens of demos and 3 feature album's/national tours later, I wouldn't trade for anything.

Live and studio engineers are blown away.
