The Price Of The Selmer Contra Alto Clarinet 1440
The price of the Selmer Contra Alto Clarinet 1440 USA is good. However, my wife bought a new one for her school that was unplayable and sent it back. The replacement was not much better. Keys were bent (they bent too easily.) The instrument did not fit in the case correctly, so I had to modify the case. I have large hands and had a lot of trouble reaching the left hand pinkie keys.
I would not purchase this instrument and wrote Selmer and told them.
