Worth It!
I bought my Tanglewood a few years ago. I felt a bit reluctant, as I wanted to buy a Cort. The store that I visited did not stock any Corts, but recommended I buy a Tanglewood instead. I have never looked back. My Tanglewood is a beautiful blood red one with a built-in Fishman tuner & pick up. I have played gigs in and around London and in South Africa. The only thing I would say is that they should've placed a better "warning" on the tuner for when the battery is flat. Many embarrassing times could have been saved. I would start tuning my guitar before the gig and realize it doesn't want to tune. Only after a few times that this happened, did I realize it was the battery that was flat. It only flashes red in the tuner for a split second. I would a "battery low" warning light. Other than that, I am happy! The wood is solid, the sound is crisp and the finishes are gorgeous. I have received many compliments about the look of my Tanglewood, as well as the sound. I strum quite softly, where some guys strum really hard - either way, the sound is perfect!
