Bang For The Bucks!

So here's the thing.

I recently moved house. Therefore I needed some cash. So I was selling of my Martin D16RGT. A fantastic guitar in every way. But when reality comes around you just have to settle down with something else. Previously I've owned alot of high end guitars such as, Martin D28, D16GT, D16RGT, Gibson Hummingbird, SJ200 and so on. The only thing I HAD to have was a SOLID guitar. I just wont settle with less. So I found this guitar. Read the review here and thought I'd give it a try. I live in Sweden so I bought it online without trying it out. Wich I never do otherwise. But I was taking a chance. The guitar arrived with .12 strings from D'arrio on it. And it sounded quite dead to me. But at this time it was just picked up from the local post office. Have been out in the cold and everything, I thought it needed some "warmup". So I changed the strings to a pair of Martin .10 and left it in the case and went to work. When I got home at night and picked it up it just sounded great. It's not quite like a high end Martin guitar but the step isn't THAT big to be honest. For the money. This is a f****** unbelieveble guitar. I bought it for around 220 pounds and Im using it mostly in the studio. Wich I never thought I was going to be able to. But it has chocked me, big time. It's somewhat a mix between a Gibson and a Martin in my case. With both the warmth of a Gibson and the crips of a Martin. I would recommend this guitar to ANY beginner worldwide. And also alot of "proffesionals" to have either as a songwriting guitar, recording guitar or a "play-around-guitar" on the road. It just sounds amazing according to it's price. I will keep it for life even when I buy way more expensive guitar in the future. I've had it for around a week now and it has already opened up very much. Try one! I think Tanglewood is going to be a brand to count with!

This Was My First Serious Guitar Having Started On

This was my first serious guitar having started on some non-desript acoustic. The tone action and general playability is excellent and as good as other more expensive models and brands I tried. I dare say a professional musician would notice the difference between this and a higher end model. My recomendation is buy one. Love playing it and spend the rest of your money on yourself rather than buying a more expensive guitar
