The Lost Boys OST

the Lost Boys in my opinion- is one of the best movie soundtracks of the 1980's. Everytime I hear it it takes me back 20 years ago.It is not a hard rock album at all. It is very diverse between soft rock, pop, and goth. If you grew up in the 80's , you will love this CD. Its a CD that you never get tired of listening to. If you seen the movie and enjoy it- you MUST purchase this CD (Yes it is still available from Warner Brothers). The only song I am not to fond of is "Powerplay" but other than that- the other 9 songs are great. You will especially like the theme "Cry little sister", it is very haunting and leads to a childrens choir (its almost a religious experience). All in all- this CD has stood the test of time as it was released the same year as the movie (1987). It is still playable in front of a crowd. I beleive the success of the film is due in part to the soundtrack. If you like alternative rock/pop, order this CD today.

This is one of the very few movie soundtracks that is still available for purchase some 22 years after its release. I have always owned a copy of this sountrack since I first saw the movie back in 1987. I got the cassette tape in 1987 and finally got the CD in 2007.

If you love lost boys you'll love this, it's great to listen to and takes you back to the 80s!

The Lost Boys soundtrack has some wonderful songs from the greatest movie ever. It is wonderful beyond belief! I have it on CD, record and tape! Also on iTunes!

If you are a Lost Boys fan, then you will love the soundtrack, it has got all the significant songs that are on the film. Plus a few that are in the background and you don't really notice until you have watched the film again after listening to the soundtrack.
