You cannot truly appreciate this album with just one listen through. There's so much music going on that you really need to listen to it many times to truly discover why this album was so legendary.I listened to this album for almost a month straight in my car. I wouldn't play anything else! I couldn't get enough!

Brian Wilson is a drug-adled mess, and its shows.

Smile could have been his masterpeice, his next pet sounds, but it is not.

It is just a shambling mess, like his current life.
