The Song Never Too Late Is A Thought-provoking Son

The song Never Too Late is a thought-provoking sonata about the contemplation of suicide and the attempts of others to encourage one to continue living with the faith that their hopeless situation will improve. As lead singer, Adam Gontier, stated at a live performance earlier this month in Washington, D.C., the song relates the experience of "being in a very dark place, but being able to see a way out." The singer also went on to explain in an interview on the radio show 'Rockline': "It's a pretty personal song about somebody that basically came to me and told me that they were finished with life and didn't want to go on anymore, and they felt like they wanted to give up, and this song is basically about telling them it's not worth it. It's never too late." (2007).

This song is particularly moving and profound in the way how the carefully placed lyrics and the excellent solo guitar melody fuse together to bring across a powerful, positive, and promising message of hope.

Never Too Late is the third single to be released from the band's RIAA-certified 'Gold' sophomore album, One X, preceded by the songs "Animal I Have Become" and "Pain", both of which have maintained the no. 1 position for over two weeks on the U.S. Mainstream Rock, and U.S. Modern Rock charts in 2006.

The song was written and produced for the Jive record label (2006).
