This album (Fire and Snow) is a fantastic discovery. The melodies, the voice, the lyrics and the music are all top-notch. It's very varied in it's songs, and easily enjoys repeated listens. Johnny Scott (guitars (Van Morrison)), Liam Genockey (drums (Steeleye Span)), Tim Harries (bass (Steeleye Span) and James Lascelles (keys, dulcimer etc (Frank Zappa)) did a fantastic job backing Mandyleigh Storm. Recorded live in London, this is one to keep.

Mandy Leigh Storm Fire & Snow - Put together a famous producer (of Van Morrison, Frank Zappa etc), a brilliant singer/songwriter with an amazing range and depth, some super musicians (from Van Morrison, Frank Zappa, Steeleye Span, Katie Melua etc), let them all rehearse for 4 days then record all together LIVE in Dean St Studio (David Bowie) with songs done in 1 - 3 takes, mixed by Mick and then Mastered by Kevin Metcalfe (Queen, The Who, Paul McCartney, U2 etc) and what have you got??
