Crow Left Of The Murder Was A Big Step For Incubus
Crow Left Of The Murder was a big step for Incubus. Following Morning View it looked as if they were heading for the more mainstream look. But Crow Left of the Murder maybe doesn't have big radio hits apart from the successful Megalomaniac, but it doesn't have a bad song. Every song on this song has it's own flavour so that the album sounds brilliant the whole way through. Every track is placed perfectly. There is something for everybody on this album. It may take time to grow on you, but Crow Left is definitely a superb effort. Yet again Incubus sets itself apart from what is basically now rubbish in mainstream music. They left Pantomime off the album but hey i can see that it would be difficult to place it anywhere. Stunning album, must give it a try...let it grow on you because it is a keeper. 10/10

Crow Left Of The Murder Is Quite Worth Listening T
Crow Left of the Murder is quite worth listening to and enjoy, though you wont be able to enjoy it as much as I did if you will only listen to it for only once.

This Isn't Going To Be A Review Full Of Appraisal.
This isn't going to be a review full of appraisal. It is my opinion, as a longterm Incubus fan.
Don't get me wrong, Crow Left of the Murder is still a good album, but I feel this isn't the best the band could have achieved.
There are some fantastic and catchy tracks such as "Megalomaniac", "Smile Lines" and "A Crow Left...", but this is the first Incubus album where I have to skip tracks.
The band have experimented with their style on tracks such as "Priceless" and "Southern Girl", but it really doesn't fit them as a band.
Boyd seems to have gone slightly down hill since Morning View also. His vocals are a little lacking on tracks such as "Agoraphobia" (a good song, but not great) where there seems a need for a big chorus, but it all seems a little monotonous. Some of the lyrics are also dubious, in "Talk Shows.." Brandon sings about electric sheep.
However, having said that, this album has some killer lines and great power in areas. "Pistola" is a great example. Brandon uses the power of his pen as a weapon against the world, and the way he delivers vocally does not dissapoint - infact it is brilliance.
A quriky album as a whole. If you ARE an Incubus fan, then this album is for you - if not, then you may want to approach with a little caution.

Every Thing About The Incubus Album, Crow Left Of
Every thing about the Incubus album, Crow Left of the Murder rocks! I judge an album by the number of songs that are good per album. The norm is 4 or 5 on any average c.d. but Incubus unlike so many others have yet to make a bad album out of every album they've produce this is now number one right behind s.c.i.e.n.c.e. and if you don't own that album your not a true Incubus fan. Crow beats it out barely by having one not so great song #9 priceless. Science I didn't think 2 on it weren't great. This is one of the most important and fast becoming legendary bands of our day and on evry album they grow a little more. for all those that don't like this album come home after a long day of whatever and turn the lights off, get your head straight and lay back with the words and understand there meaning. Wow these guys never faulter.
