Ronan Keating, Turn It On - This Album Is Great.
Ronan Keating, Turn It On - This album is great. Why? It has it all from your slow ballsds we all love Ronan doing. Like one of the best on the album and my favorite "FIRST TIME." I love this song -- this song reminds me of a song from Ronan's first album called "Only For You." For me, being someone who likes to sing, and I do all Ronan's songs, this one is one of the best to sing because it really gets you in the mood. Anyway, the album has slow ballads to your upbeat tracks like "TURN IT ON AGAIN" and "BACK IN THE DAY." Both are very good and smart songs that I find myself humming and I don't even know it. Also, all the time I am singing "BACK IN THE DAY MA MA HAY HAY" over and over. Also, this album has, in the middle, tracks like "LOST FOR WORDS." I think this is one of Ronan's best singles along with "THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL." Number 9 in the charts was not right for this single. "HOLD YOU NOW" is one of the best on the album. So, if you want to sing to this album or just play it, get it ASAP -- you will love it. So, all that's left to do is say well done Ronan, keep up the good word mate, from Andrew. S

My Overall Summary Of "turn It On" Is I Really Lov
My overall summary of "Turn it on" is I really love the album it's a step up from his last two albums and you can tell he's been working hard to achieve his personal goals to release an album that both sells himself as a solo artist and to go the direction he's been working on. I just wish him every sucess for the tour and with the album, good luck Ro!!!
Hardly surprising seeing as it's your review??!! But it is a good CD.
I agree.

This Album Tops His Previous Albums In Term Of Son
This album tops his previous albums in term of song quality. Written by the man himself, Turn it On is an oustanding collection of guitar-based-pop rock tunes that are bound to be hit singles. The sweet driven melody of ballads delivered by rich vocals that only Ronan's voice can bring to life. You can turn it on and discover that you may never want to turn it off.

For Me The Album Has A Natural Pace, And Covers Al
For me the album has a natural pace, and covers all the tempos, from up with "Turn it on" and "Back in the Day" to mid with the duet with Leanne Rimes, to the slow ballads such as the outstanding track "First time" and "Let her down Easy". One of the most beautiful songs "This is your song" he wrote only days after the death of his mother, and it is a tribute to his band and fans alike that finally this song is included on an album. "I'm on my way" also deserves a mention, written with two of his band members, James McNally (Afrocelts) and Callum MacColl (long list of song writing credits with Brian Kennedy just to name one) this song is written about a changing relationship, which could easily sum up how Ronan feels about his own changing direction. Ronan's vocals show a growing maturity, and whilst some may mock his huskiness, there is a power and growing confidence that can only come from an artist that takes every opportunity to sing live. Here is a singer that doesnt need to resort to recording studio trickery to produce good vocals. On this album, he reaps the rewards that always singing live brings and as listeners so do we. To sum up, this album is nearer to Ronan the album than Destination. It is a album that the fans have indeed taken to their hearts as they also want to see more of Ronans developing songwriting skills. It is an album I would recomend to any non Ronan fans as well. Yes it contains love songs, maybe it is middle of the road, but if that is so, point me to the white lines cos I am happy to follow them. Songs such as contained on this album, sentimental love songs, are the songs that come to mean to much to people in their lives, and you dont have to be a Ronan fan to appreciate that.

If Theres One Word I'd Use To Describe, 'turn It O
If theres one word I'd use to describe, 'turn it on' by Ronan Keating, it would be 'quality'. From the crafting of the songs where all but two of them are co-written by Ronan himself (some very personal songs too), the very strong, vibrant vocals through to the wonderful musical arrangements. The opening track Turn It On Again is a great rocky song to get the album off to a great start and Back In The Day a real uptempo pop tune. For ballad lovers there is the beautiful First Time and the very emotive This Is Your Song which Ronan wrote for his late mum. Two covers on the album Let Her Down Easy which Ronan gives such gentle treatment to, you may remember this was originally by Terence Trent D'Arby, and She Believes In Me, a country song formerly recorded by Kenny Rogers but the song has been changed and rewritten, its a real classy song. Ronan also has a duet on the album with Leeann Rimes, called Last Thing On My Mind. A fantastic collection of songs for everyone to enjoy, I recommend it without reservation.
