Even Better Than Astronaut. Great To See The Boys

Even better than Astronaut. Great to see the boys turning out quality music still. A new sound, more funky due to the influence of Timberland & co. It works though. No really weak songs (I even like the much maligned nite runners!) - but some real corkers!!

Considering Red Carpet Massacre Is Twelve Months O

Considering Red Carpet Massacre is twelve months overdue, owing Andy Taylor leaving the group last year, its been well worth the wait.Timbaland and Justin Timberlakes input into this album is clear to hear. In fact if you put them in a bag with the last album, Astronaut, and shake it up, Red Carpet Massacre is what you'd expect to get. That might sound like a bad thing, but believe me it isn't. Its a natural progression from Astronaut, tinged with Timbaland production but is clearly Duran Duran through and through.Every track is worth a mention, but I wouldnt bore you with that. Safe to say that with many of them, you could safely imagine them being sung live, and for that I can't wait.Tracks of note for me are the title track "Red Carpet Massacre", Nite Runner and Skin Divers. Tricked Out is a musical track, and Nick Rhodes must be delighted to get the chance to harp back to the New Romantic Days with this one.....Be still my New Romantic Heart....10 / 10....bring on the tour.
