It might not be George Clinton, but the grooves rediscovered from this great 1970's outfit are funktastic all the same, sounding like your best Headhunters cut, shaken up with some be-bop bitters, cooled down over easy-listening ice and served up with a hint of European chic.
Label Crippled Dick are proving themselves as salvagers of the lost ark in 1970's classics, and this release keeps them right on track. Salsa funk hot off the Crippled Dick griddle. Every track sizzles. Some spin out of control. Some keep us tight in the groove, spitting you out exhausted but happy.
