I Have Tired To Like Turin Brake' The Optimist, Bu

I have tired to like Turin Brake' the Optimist, but it really does nothing for me. On hearing, "feeling oblivion", there were high hopes for this album...but then it reached "Underdog" and "Emergenct 72". Nevertheless I regained my focus when I heard "Mind over money", which to me is a beautiful song, describing how there is perhaps more to life than money and asks "what does this matter in the grand scheming sky". But I still cannot help but compare this album to their newest, "Ether Song" in saying that the Optimist does by no way show the full ablitiy of Turin Brakes. So however hard I have tired to appreciate this album, I still find no attraction to it and struggle to allow myself to listen to it from track 1 until the concluding track 12. Perhaps Turin Brakes were too optimistic with this album. (sorry about the pun)But really not worth spending money on...if you are really keen on Turin Brakes support them by buying Ether Song which includes Painkiller.
