Having Heard A Few Whisperings That Maximo Park Ar

Having heard a few whisperings that Maximo Park are destined for great great things I decided to give A Certain Trigger a sceptical go. I wasn't dissapointed - no growers on this album, every track is first class. I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it.

I'm a fan of songs that have pace and energy so this album presses all the right buttons for me. I love the Northeast twang that the album is sung with, very Futureheads but far better.

I Wasnt Too Sure What To Expect When I Bought Maxi

I wasnt too sure what to expect when I bought Maximo Park, A Certain Trigger as I am new to the indie scene, but I have to say that I have absolutely no regrets as I think it is worth every penny. The album has a unique energy about it and will definitely get you dancing away, from songs like 'Apply Some Pressure', 'Going Missing' and 'Graffitti' you get the impression that this band is set to make its mark in the music scene for a long time to come yet.

I would definitely recommend this album because not only are the songs infectious and the band refeshing, but because Maximo Park stand out from the rest on so many dimensions.

If you liked this you should buy the Futureheads album too. Also, you might like Gang of Four, Clor, Hot Hot Heat and Stellastarr. :)
