Jet's Get Born Is An Album You're Either Going To
Jet's Get Born is an album you're either going to love or get sick of very quickly. I liked the first song I heard 'Will You Be My Girl?'. Little did I know that the whole album was going to be pretty much the same thing. The best song on the album is 'Look What You've Done' because it isn't exactly the same as everything else.
This album is pretty much all powerchords and lyrics that contain a lot of 'Yeahs'. I've got nothing against powerchord riffs but at least make them sound more than a little different from each other.
If they had a album that contained only three or four of these songs and other completely different songs then it would probally be more appealling.
If these fellas want to be in the game for a long time or even past a second album they'll need to do something different and quick.

Jet, Get Born - This Band Is By Far The Worst Gara
Jet, Get Born - This band is by far the worst garage rock band I have heard. I bought the album then immediately sold it. Half the album is infested with "YEAH!"s
The guitar lines get very obnoxious after you hear it five times after you hear it.

Jet, Get Born - I Welcomed This Cd With Great Enth
Jet, Get Born - I welcomed this CD with great enthusiasm. 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?' on first few listens had really opened me up to the band, and expectations were high for Get Born.
However, the album is a big disappointment. Besides album highlights 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?' and 'Cold Hard Bitch,' the album lacks coherence, and relies too much on its 70's, Americana-style rock influences. For me, Jet look the part of a cool rock outfit, yet this album just doesn't do their 'look' justice. Perhaps more originality would have worked better on this album, rather than cycling through their influences back-catalogues and producing a shoddy and shambolic debut album.

Jet, Get Born, Is One Of The Best Albums I Have He
Jet, Get Born, is one of the best albums I have heard in the last couple of years. The band don't always play the type of music that their appearance suggests, which is great. You have the rocking tracks, perfectly balanced with slower, more reflective numbers. Class album.
