As Ever, Coldplay Have Produced The Goods Yet Agai
As ever, Coldplay have produced the goods yet again with Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Another masterpiece from a band who never let you down. Songwriting at it's best, with terrific melodies, & lyrics that hit the spot.

Well The Title Track Is Probably They Best Track (
Well the title track is probably they best track (with the exception of the scientist) that they have ever produced in my opinion. Very dark in places, light in others, slow to start, but peaks at the end with the final four tracks. The first single Violet Hill, was a little bit of a disappointment. Felt like a beatles rip-off and the video also seemed worryingly beatlesque, but the rest of the album is definitely Coldplay experimenting with their sound. I've heard or seen very little feedback from the album from both the press or the public, but after the last album there was this feeling that Coldplay had cemented itself as a consistently great band and nobody could be really bothered to contest that issue anymore. Go buy/download the album!

I Would Have Described Myself As A Casual Coldplay
I would have described myself as a casual Coldplay fan up until release of Viva La Vida. However, having listened to this album over the last two weeks I can say i am now a fan of their current direction. Highly recommend this album, just give it time and its depth truly grows on you.

The Latest Coldplay Album, Viva La Vida Or Death A
The Latest Coldplay Album, Viva la Vida or Death and all his friends was released today and im working my way through it now for the second time. This album is very instrumental compared to the previous albums but still has that Coldplay touch. All round a great album, im trying to work out which will be the anthem of the album. The one thats up there the likes of Yellow, Trouble and Fix you.Violet hill is the first released from the album and is a great track with a strong beat and similarities to Beatles and oasis tracks. The second track released is Lover is Japan, again a great track that is typical Coldplay.Definitely recommend this album to all fans of Coldplay, you will not be let down. I hope they perform as well live later in the year.
