AFI, Black Sails in the Sunset

AFI Black Sails in the Sunset - Whether you've followed AFI (A Fire Inside) through the many years of their career or are just now catching on to what you've been missing, this album is great.

Lyric wise, AFI finally grew up in this album. Yes, they were awesome before but their lyrics lacked that spark that would set them apart from everyother punk band that followed the well beaten path that audiences had created for them. In 'Black Sails' the language they used brought it all up to a whole new level. It requires thought to actually understand what is being said in each song which gives the band a look of maturity that they lacked before.

If you've never listened to AFI and are curious, I suggest you begin with this album. It's absolutely amazing and will show off AFI's best side and win you over forever.
