Gnarls Barkley, St. Elsewhere

It may be a little cynical, but I think Gnarls Barkley's St. Elsewhere album has to be one of the most over-hyped releases of the year. Clever marketing and a delayed and confusing release of the only single of any note, has ensured that Gnarls Barkley will be a financial success if not a critical one. I bought this record for our lass, and I think she only pretends she likes it because it was a present from me to her. We have given the album plenty of air time during get-togethers we regularly host in the hope that some of the tracks may be growers, but to no avail, as the album simply annoyed me so much, I scattered it a few gardens down from my own following an act of drunken tomfoolery.

Gnarls Barkley, St. Elsewhere is highly recommended.
