I Love Ozzy, But He Was Only A Part Of The Band. S
I love Ozzy, but he was only a part of the band. Shame on the closed-minded people who say that Ozzy has to be on a Black Sabbath album for it to sound good. I feel bad for people who refuse to listen to this, because it is in the Top 5 for Sabbath albums, and top 15 for rock albums! Its a shame that Ian didn't like this album, but the entire thing is great. The live shows were even better. Hearing Gillans version of "Children of the Grave" made me forget Ozzy all together.
Apart from seventh star, this one`s notoriously the worst album they ever did. Every fan knows it. I dunno WHY you`ve given it ten but certainly respect your opinion. You`ll probably never get back to this(taking the date into account) ... was begging to be stated though.
