Jack Johnson, From Here to Now to You

I've been a massive fan of Jack Johnson since 2005, when his album 'In Between Dreams' hit the shelves. I've purchased every one of his albums since then, and whilst all great in their own rights, none of them have quite matched up to In Between Dreams. However, 7 years later, 'From Here to Now to You' is finally on a par; perhaps even his best work yet.

In his latest album, Jack Johnson has ditched the electric guitar which had made an appearance on his last two, and gone right back to basics with his ukulele and acoustic guitar. This album was recorded in Hawaii, and it shines through in the songs featured, each with their own story to tell. My personal favourite tracks are 'Radiate' 'I got you' and 'Shot Reverse Shot.'

If you like your music laid back, soulful and rustic, then this album is definitely for you!
