Trueheart's Tunes (http://www.truehearttexas.com)
TrueHeart's tunes (http://www.truehearttexas.com) are unreal with a dreamlike motion. While "ethereal" would not be an appropriate word to describe them, they do seem to emanate from another time, like black-and-white pictures of cities that are no longer there. There is an innocence to these tunes that one doesn't hear anymore.
I am charmed by this band of siblings. Their voices ring with sweetness and an overall joy of living, especially on "Ain't Life Great." Strangely enough, calling a track "Ain't Life Great" in these bleak-rock days is considered rebellious, isn't it?
There is not a single stumble on this flawless LP. You can tell that the group spent much time delicately crafting them, shaping them into sparkling evening stars. "Tripped Up" alone will have you locked into TrueHeart's glow.
To my UK brethren,
My name is Mitchell Fox and I look after the affairs of TrueHeart here in the US. It is with great joy that I am reading this most appreciative review.
The members of the band worked very hard on this album and have another in the can and three others in catalog. If anyone is interested in getting to know more about TrueHeart, e-me @ [email protected]
Best to all
