Adam Fischer/Danish Radio Sinfonietta W.A.Mozart Symphonies vol.5

I know it is big words to use - but W.A.Mozart Symphonies vol.5 is simply the best recording I have heard in a long time.

Adam Fischer and the Danish Radio Sinfonietta produce a constantly moving interpretation - the sonority is rich and nuanced, but it never looses an almost transparent character that suits these symphonies well. It is obvious for the listener that there is a sincere interest in presenting Mozart both according to period style but still with a contemporary atmosphere that gives it long lasting qualities.

This is absolutely a highly recommendable cd - and I am certainly looking forward to the rest of the volumes.
