Sharp Practice
I received a telephone call from a salesman for Stuff magazine. He was polite and pleasant.
He offered me 3 trial issues of the magazine for £1. If I liked what I saw, I need do nothing - further payments of £19.99 would be taken from my bank account and I would continue to receive each issue.
My bank account was debited £19.99 BEFORE I received the third issue. The salesman had failed to mention this. I rang to complain. Again, I spoke to a very pleasant lady, but I was told quite firmly "no refunds".
I think this method of selling subscriptions is underhand. I feel that I have been duped.
What's worse, I don't even like the magazine.

Stuff Magazine Is A Must For Anyone Who Wants To K
Stuff magazine is a must for anyone who wants to keep up to date with all the latest technology. They have the coolest stuff in the world, from iPod Minis to phones to cars to Frisbees. They always put an unnecessary attractive woman on the cover, not sure why (obviously to sell more mags) because there are no more women inside, so don't be fooled. But at £3.60 it's worth the money, there aren't too many adverts and it can be quite witty in places.
