Peppa Pig Stage Show

Peppa Pig Stage Show is an extension of the ever popular Peppa Pig franchise that pretty much ever kid I know loves.

If I were rating this as an adult I'd probably give it just one or two stars as I'd say it was pretty poor. I was expecting the characters to be people in peppa pig character suits, but instead they were just people on stage with puppets in their hands - which kind of ruined the illusion a bit!

However, I'm rating this more as how my 2 and a half year old reacted, as ultimately its obviously a production for the kids, not us adults.

She loved it.

She isn't one for sitting down and watching anything or doing anything for more than about 5 minutes, so I was a little concerned about taking her to a production which lasts for about 1hr 15m

However, I need not have worried. She said there transfixed by what was unravelling on stage. She clapped, danced, shouted and sang.

When it was over she looked a bit disappointed that it was all over but still had a big smile on her face - a fantastic success

All the other kids there also loved it.

So, whilst it felt like a fairly low grade attempt at bringing Peppa Pig to stage to me, to my daughter (the target audience) it was fantastic.
