Time To Up The Ante

The last thing Playa Blanca needs is Roy Chubby Brown. In fact the acts in general here are poor. There are better acts around but you won't find them in any of the Irish bars.

The Old Mill Is Located In The Centre Of Playa Bla

The Old Mill is located in the centre of Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. The venue is upstairs and is best described as medium sized. During the day the emphasis is on bar food which is good and wholesome. In the evening sky sports is shown until 9.30 with the sound turned town. At 9.30 the live music start and is best described as middle of the road with generally a mixture of 60's,70's,80's an 90's music. This ends at midnight and the bar closes at 1am. The atmosphere is great and it attracts a mixture of ages generally from 30 upwards. In the evening this venue is not really not suitable for children. Sometimes people have a dance. The music is at a reasonable volume so one can hear each other speaking without having to shout. The standard of the live music varies from excellent to poor depending on who is performing, but there are not many bad nights. Recommended for an entertaining and fun night out.The prices of drinks are about average for the resort. A large beer is 3 euros for example.
