Appalling Food And Poor Service

It is a real shame, have been here a number of times but the last two had been mediocre and my last visit was dire.

Food took 45 minutes to arrive and three meals were inedable, it looked like they had been on a hot tray for 20 minutes, and by the heat of the plates they had!

This is the only place that has managed to serve potatoe wedges that were both shrivelled and soggy at the same time, when I took the meals back to the bar the barman took one look and agreed that they were bad. I went back to the table expecting the manager to come over and apologies for the delay (pub was nearly empty so no excuse there) and the poor food but no visit, in the end we paid for the drinks and left to visit the chip shop on the way home.

Avoid this place, spent a lot of money on refurbishment and forgot about what people come out for – Good food and service!!

Where We Had Planned To Eat Was Overbooked So At L

Where we had planned to eat was overbooked so at last minute we found this place. I was not in best of moods and certainly not expecting to enjoy my evening meal. Brilliant welcome, surprisingly large and varied menu & good service were all a good start. Yes, I found something not to my taste, grilled tomato was virtually raw. This was promptly put to rights. The salad with ceaser dressing was something really special to me. I'll be back.
