Wahoo Bar In Putney Is Billed As A Sports Bar So I
Wahoo Bar in Putney is billed as a Sports Bar so I gave it a try in order to watch the rugby. It used to be a Walkabout so my expectations weren't high but the new paint and truckload of LCD TVs did a good job of making it a decent sports bar.
You can watch with a good view from pretty much anywhere in the bar and they show more than one sports channel at once. The service was good too.
The downsides are a lack of tables and some of the punters can be a little rude. I got shoved around a little despite the place only being half empty.
The prices are pretty typical of London and I don't think I'd risk the food but if you want to watch sports in Putney you can't go too wrong.
