Portside Is An English Bar In Puerto Banus. Yes I

Portside is an English bar in Puerto Banus. Yes I know, Brits abroad, but half the town is British so it's hard to escape them.

Portside is pretty standard fayre - reasonable beer prices, a view onto the port on one side and a view on to 'Trash Alley' as the locals call it on the other. Lineker's Bar is dead opposite and owned by the same people.

We had a beer or two at Linekers most nights and chatted with the friendly bar staff, enjoying a few free and cheeky shots! We also watched (another disappointing) England game just to complete our Chavs abroad experience.

The entertainment provided by Portside was the people passing through Trash Alley. I say passing, often staggering through to pop into Linekers bar. Stag dos in disarray, and so on. All very entertaining and helpful in curtailing my on alcohol intake!

AN average bar with lovely staff, decent prices in the expensive Puerto Banus (9 euro bottles of beer in some places - eek!) and alternative entertainment.

Sit by trash alley and feel smug as you survey the carnage!
