Manchester, 5th Avenue

5th Avenue or 'The Ave' as it is affectionately known is full of smelly scruffs from my experiences. If I could turn a hose on the clientel then I'd do it without hesitation. Some of the music is ok and on the occassions I've been there the midweek nights were better than the weekends when it's grossly overpriced. If smelly moshers are your thing then you'll love it.

I think it's a definite "student" kind of place. Situated on the corner of Princess Street, once you've got in you go straight down some stairs, with an impressive bar which cover the entire length of the left hand side of the dance floor and an upstairs balcony over looking the dance floor with seats and another small bar upstairs.

Yes the place isn't much to look at from the inside but its one of those places where its so bad its good, an excellent night out! The music is also brilliant and there's a mobile number above the DJ booth where you can text your requests. Anybody who hasn't been i recommend you go its a brilliants place the crowd is brilliant no one pretentious in sight everyone's just up for a good night- 5TH 'AVEing it style!! 10/10!!
