Friendly Service, Good Food And Good Music.

Friendly Service, good food and good music.

We did however book over New Years Eve and they charged us for each meal 10% on top of the booking price of £60.

Overall though a nice, relaxed place to go.

Visited London Yesterday For Several Business Meet

Visited London Yesterday for several business meetings and took advantage of an overnight stay and an evening with my wife. We started at Sugar Reef for a 2 course pre theatre deal booked through lastminute followed by a trip round the corner to the Lyric Theatre to see cabaret. The choice was limited to 3 starters and 4 main courses so selection didnt take much time. A waiter and waitress shared table duties. We were seated quickly and served quickly and had no complaints about the staff or venue. Starters were goats cheese with extras for my wife and soup plus bread for me. Both were fine, my soup seemed out of a packet but the bread was warm and filling. My wife was very happy with hers despite doubts about the goats cheese which she hadn't tried before. Wine arrived fast and served with a champagne bucket with ice. the house white a sauvignon and chardonnay combo which delighted my wife but I found horribly bland and fairly nasty to taste choose something more expensive when you go. Main course of salmon for my wife and chicken for me were both more than acceptable and filling. The restaurant was not full or empty. And for what is really a nightclub style environment we left happy and we will go back in the future. With the bill coming out at £32 it was fairly cheap for London. We recommend it for those on a budget.

Sounds good. Not sure if I like the idea of eating in a Nightclub style environment, but £32 for 2 course meal for two, with drinks, in London is a pleasant change.
