London, Porter House

The Porter House is one of my favourite pubs in central London. A stones throw from Covent Garden and the Strand, this place is huge, and specialises in what appears to be beer that they've brewed themselves. They also have an extensive bottled beer collection.

The interior of the pub is dark, with elements of mash tun showing throughout, and it has quite a large outside area in front of the pub. On a Friday / Saturday night there is always live musiic

I have been told that it can be quite difficult meeting peopel here - largely because mobile reception is quite bad and because the place is so big.

It's also good for watching sports, with multiple TV screens even sometimes showing 3-d football.
