If you like to stand about and pose then this is the bar for you. I can imagine it being a popular C list wag hang out. It has a nice layout and is right in the centre of town. Perfect for yuppies but lacks charm.
Dance music is what they were playing when I was there (but you obviously know better).
I cannot understand why you seem so angry at one persons opinion (which would certainly not be an isolated view).
perhaps you work there? If this is the case I would expect you listen and try to improve your bar.
If not, I cannot understand why your would be so passionate in defending such and average charmless bar.
Well, my first problem with your review is that they do NOT play 'dance' music. Do you know the difference between upbeat, relaxed house music by Belfast's popular DJ's and 'dance.' The difference being... Apartment doesn't play Basshunter or remixes of Rhianna.
My second problem is your statement, "it lacks charm."
It does not. In fact, Apartment oozes charm and sophistication. Now if your problem is that Apartment is not covered in Guinness posters, with dark booths and old men drinking Guinness whilst pestering the bar staff, well it's designed as a style bar. Not a comfy pub.

I Find I Have A Great Experience At Apartment Ever
I find i have a great experience at Apartment every time i go. I take my hat off to the staff and management. It's really something how they've kept this bar booming with all the other competition popping up over Belfast. Well done Apartment.
I disagree with this review because it looks like it was written by a member of staff. You do not write good points in the bad points section and if people what to order a pint in a bar that sells beers then I feel it is quite reasonable to serve them one, Is it not?

The Apartment In Belfast Is By Far One Of The More
The Apartment in Belfast is by far one of the more credible Cocktail Bars in Belfast and now approaching it's seventh year of service. It's key to success is up to the minute music and fresh ingredients in all cocktails. It has also been a local and international celebrity hangout with stars such as Sharon Corr and even bigger stars like Matthew McConaughey. This is also the downside, despite the door staff in place to keep it upmarket the odd scaly still gets in.
The drinkers are generally young professionals with a large income to pay the prices demanded for the cocktails but they are worth it, my personal favourite is Moijito which they use Havana rum and a soda top highly recommended.
