Barista Bar, Chelmsford

It doesn't matter what time of the day I go to Barista, it always has a great atmosphere and it is the perfect place to relax.

I recently had lunch for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken burger and chips that came out nicely presented on a wooden board. The chips were really chunky and the chicken breast tasted fresh and was well sized. The meal also came with a salad and the burger had wonderful cuts of fresh chilli that really gave it a ZING!

Barista is one of a few bars in Chelmsford that sell Stella Black on tap - this was perfect for me. My friends enjoyed one of three guest real ales that are delivered in clear pipes (so you can see the clarity of the beer) from upstairs. This makes quite a unique feature.

The music was at a nice volume and complimented the decor. Of an evening it is pumped up a bit more and the place becomes more lively - and full of really good looking women!!

The staff were friendly and polite and made me feel very welcome.

I will certainly be going back to Barista because of the nice food, the wide selection of beers and spirits, the real ales for my friends and the because it is the place to be seen where everyone goes... even the lovely ladies!
