My All-time Favorite Musical

It was my first time going to a musical, but have seen the film couple of times in the past, so I kind of made an idea how would be like. But the show exceeded my expectations. It was much more than I thought would be. A really great setup with the band on the stage; professional, sexy and athletic dancers and amazing voices. I couldn't wish for more. The musical is really entertaining, fun and captivating. A real blast from the start to the end. I was truly blown away. It's my all time favorite musical and I had the best time. Warmly recommend this musical to anyone. And will definitely go again. And again. And again...

This Musical Was A Disappointment As Seen On Jan 1

This musical was a disappointment as seen on Jan 16, 2010 with Ashlee Simpson as the lead Roxy. She didn't sing but rather talked through the numbers and when she did sing with others in the cast, her voice was drowned out (thank goodness, I guess) by the other cast members. Watching her sing was painful and it looked like she was hurting her voice by straining. Her dancing was minimal and amateur. In reading the playbill, there was an article about stars making comebacks. Sorry Ashlee but this performance didn't earn you a comeback. The rest of the cast was great and I enjoyed the solos by Mary Sunshine, Amos, and Velma. Good job. Ashlee, keep practicing, you have a long way to go.
