Where We’re The 50s& 60s Hits?
A few of the numbers were from the 50s & 60s which is what we want to hear! The ELVIS bit was dreadful, depressing & sad - who wants to see his funeral on a fun night out?! Time for “Mick” to hang up his wig, maybe do more Cliff as he looks a bit like him.
Apart from the Oasis number, the second half was pretty awful- if it had been on tv, we would have turned off.

Shame About The Drummer
Went to the show 27th July, 2024,in Torquay. The only positive side, was that the backing band, all male, multi musitions/singers, were top class, excellent. That's it...... except for the drummer, who thought the drums, were a lead instrument, and HIT ( didn't play) Hit, the snare drum, like a DUSTBIN, ALL
NIGHT, even in the Ballads. Sorry, very bad, musical directing, because this should be noticed, and corrected, during rehearsals,?? . The show, went up to sometimes excellent, then, down to average. SORRY.

More Music, No Sketches Or What Is Supposed To Be Funny.
The music was good. Could have done with some professional dancers and to do away with sketches and what is supposed to be funny.

Its A Shame
I have been to this show with my mum and eldest son a few times over the years and have really enjoyed it we have sang along clapped hands and had a really good evening and come out buzzing . So I decided to take my younger son this year as my mum is no longer with us and he loves a lot of the rock and roll era and more, but we all came out disappointed and to be honest a bit bored. A lot of the songs were very slow this year didn’t do many of the 50’s rock and Roll era then hit the 70’s a medley came on which was great so we were singing and clapping our hands and thought at last then it slowed down again got excited at one stage as Elvis came on, but even that was one of his older slower songs I’m not saying the singing wasn’t good but needed songs with a bit more jazz I hadn’t heard most of the songs and even the artists I knew I had never heard the song there is so may well known songs they could have sang I know it needs to be changed around every year but the more common are the ones you want to sing and rock to which was a shame so just sat there through a lot of them.

Lost Its Appeal
Am I the only one to write a negative review?
Been enjoying this show for over 10 years on and off and have always enjoyed and had an excellent evening.
Saw the new show recently and whilst the first half was the usual fantastic lively foot tapping show the second half which usually gets everyone singing was painfully boring. I consider myself to have quite a varied musical choice when it comes to it but some of the tracks they played were, whilst one time hits hardly something I would have thought appropriate for the second half and judging by the age demographic, a lot were nodding off out of shear boredom.
Poor Trevor Payne, not sure if he’s not been well but was really stumbling over the comedy sketches, to the point I felt embarrassed for him and seemed to be taking a less active roll in the new show.

Fantastic Show!
Last night I saw the show in Wycombe Swan.
For 3 hours we were treated to a huge mix of songs from 50s to 80 which they whipped through fairly quickly so you couldn't get bored.
There was a screen behind them with old footage that was music related.
Singers and musicians were very professional.
Lots of outfit changes.
But what I will say is the 2 women were slightly drowned out by the music in the first half which was a shame as they had beautiful sweet voices.BUT oh my goodness that was not the case in the second half...they were fabulous!
The drummers were out of this world! As were the guitarists.
Comedy moments were hilarious....Mick Jagger you rock!
Don't want to give away the content of show too much but just to say you won't be disappointed.

Don't Waste Your Money
Went to see this in Leicester. Says from 50s to 80s music, more comedy than music and most wasn't funny. Alot of American songs rather than British. No ska, 80s was mostly status quo, some haven't got the voices for the songs. Expected more and was very disappointed. Would have left at interval if I had been driving!!!!!! Go an see the original bands

Southampton Show 31st March 2019
I was a little disappointed having seen the show on two previous occasions. The show producer, who also takes part, couldn't sing as he was obviously not well(hoarse). He is the key man on this show, and he looked very 'out of it all' but soldiered on.
The musicians are all extremely good...very talented. What marred this show was the extremely loud drumming which was drowning out many of the songs.
It must be difficult to keep coming up with new ideas, for this show but a few more jokes that we can hear clearly would make all the difference,as long as the loud drumming issue is dealt with.and sound levels sorted out properly
