This Presentation Of The Touring Show 'spamalot' H

This presentation of the touring show 'Spamalot' had Marcus Brigstocke as King Arthur, Hayley Tamaddon as The Lady of The Lake and Todd Carty (Eastenders) as Patsy amongst other less well known but equally accomplished players. As a concept the whole thing held together quite well with the core Holy Grail theme augmented by snippets from other Python forays into the bizarre. The cast all performed admirably embracing the Pythonesque philosophy of making the obvious bizarre. Whilst Marcus Brigstocke did an excellent job as Arthur, the highlight of the show for me was the performance of Hayley Tamaddon with her superb voice and enthusiastic interpretation of the Lady of the Lake including a very funny rendition of 'A Song Like This' and 'The Diva' song. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and well worth seeing.

Spamalot Is A Hilarious Musical Based Upon The Sto

Spamalot is a hilarious musical based upon the story of the Holy Grail. It contained many of the well known Monty python songs, including 'always look on the bright side of life.' Spamalot returned home to Britain in 2006 after touring in America.

The acting was incredible; there were no mistakes that I could see. As of course was the dancing. However, personally, I think the best aspect of the film was the singing. They all had incredible voices and I couldn't hear a flat note. They kept some of the jokes from the film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. However, they added in some new material which was fantastic. I didn't feel like I was watching a cheap rip off of the film. The scenery was great, they had a castles, forests and a very glam style Camelot.

The best part of the show was near the end, it included a very surprised and embarrassed audience member but for the rest of the audience, it was hilarious. But, if you want to find out what that's all about, you'll have to see the show for yourself.

Overall, Spamalot has been my favorite Broadway show yet, after seeing 'The Producers' and 'The Rod Stewart Musical.' I would definitely, without a doubt see Spamalot again. For me it had the perfect amount of comedy, singing, dance and acting.

Regardless Of This One Flaw In The Show, Spamalot

Regardless of this one flaw in the show, Spamalot stands as one of the best new plays London has seen, and should continue to sell out performances for many years to come.

I thought that this review was very good, it was a little biased at the beginning, and suddenly a quick change of opinion, and levelling out the good points with the bad points made it professional and unbiased. Since reading this review i am very eager to watch the musical, sing along and join in the wonderful atmosphere described!

A great review to a great show. This review helped me understand what spamalot is about, and thanks to this review i have watched what could be my favourite show for some while. I must agree on the song 'you won't succeed in showbiz' letting the show down. Apart from the song, that was the only flaw to a great show. Lots of monty python style laughs. In my eyes, the perfect review.
