Little Women On Tour

Overall I find the story of Little Women to be one about love for your family, realizing how important to you they really are, and how great they are. I think that Sutton Foster, who plays Joe, really does an amazing job of portraying that character. Also Marmee, played by Maureen McGovern, is one of my favourite characters, and I thought that Maureen did an amazing job in showing how alone Marmee is without her husband, and how hard it is to raise her little girls all on her own. The rest of the girls were great, but Foster and McGovern just caught my eye in a certain way, which showed me how much I love this story. Sutton Foster's voice is very belty yet beautiful, and also shows how Joe really feels, such as in the song Astonishing, and The Fire within me.

McGovern also has an amazing voice, and when she sings Days of Plenty and Here Alone, I think that big booming voice is wonderful, and it's not too pretty, and not too ugly, but it fits the character perfectly.
