I Find The Nme Awards Quite A Boring Event. It See
I find the NME Awards quite a boring event. It seems NME promote certain bands for 12 months via their magazine publication and then give awards to the bands they've most promoted during that period. It doesn't make for a very exciting program and the results are often all too predictable. It would be nice if they used the awards to help promote more new talent then give long since established acts a pat on the back.
