This review is on the coverage by ITV, not the concert! It was truly and excruciatingly awful. Constantly interrupted by Adverts of course presenters and studio celebrities.
The Actual Performances And Experience Were Dull D
The actual performances and experience were DULL DULL DULL. Interminable babbling by celeb presenters and desultory performances by people like Simple Minds and Queen, Amy Winehouse etc; no one seemed to have any real life and enthusiasm for the event.
Information was apalling - there were all these "rules" on arrival which we were told were on the tickets (can't take in cameras, can't take in wine etc) until we pointed out that there was absolutely nothing written on our tickets to this effect. Most bizarre was that you were only allowed to take in 500ml of water. Our bottles had 750ml so we weren't allowed to take them in (until we complained vociferously)!.
