I Went To See Queen On 19/10/2008 At Sheffield, I
I went to see Queen on 19/10/2008 at Sheffield, I have always been a fan but not a "die hard" I had little knowledge of Paul Rodgers. The show was amazing, Brian Mays guitar playing was awsome and Rogers has a fantastic rock voice. The tributes to Freddie were very tastfully done and I would definitley pay my £50 to go and see them again, the experience was that good. For what it's worth I predict they will reach great heights again as a great rock band.

I Saw Queen And Bad Company Back In The 70's, And
I saw Queen and Bad Company back in the 70's, and both were great shows. I set my expectations low for this show, though, as I was worried Paul Rodgers would try to "do" Freddie. Thankfully, everyone was themselves, and the audience was ecstatic with the product. They opened with "Tie Your Mother Down" and moved into "Fat Bottomed Girls." It was Queen at its best, and for a moment it didn't matter that Freddie wasnt there. There were a few tributes to Freddie, but the lack of Freddie didn't harm the show. Brian May owned the stage, and more than anything else, it was his show, and he was worth every dollar I spent. He proved why he is revered as one of the guitar greats, and he hasnt lost a thing over the years. Paul Rodgers took over to a greater extent on Bad Company and Free songs - but he never harmed the Queen songs. All I can say to sum it up is that I was singing and smiling the entire 2:20 of the show. The three teens I took to it were absolutely ecstatic with the show, and they were there to see Queen, but now they want to discover Paul Rodgers old stuff, too.

Saw Queen & Paul Rodgers At Sheffield...wow...a Gr
Saw Queen & Paul Rodgers at Sheffield...wow...a great performance from all. I went with a lifelong queen die hard fanatic and even he was blown away by the vocals of paul rogers. I am a queen fan too...but also a big fan of bad company...and free, their opening number, reaching out was superb, if too short. Have managed to track this recording down to a collaboration of Brian May and Paul Rodgers in the mid eighties. It was released as a charity single under the name of rock therapy, it is a supeb cd. I was at the sheffield concert and there is a dvd of this concert, again, get it, it is worth every penny. A few people were a bit peeved being behind the camera towers, so get the DVD and see what you missed.
Queen & Paul Rodgers Was Certainly An Experience,
Queen & Paul Rodgers was certainly an experience, in my humble opinion I prefer the voice of Paul to Freddie.
