Saw dylan back in the day, blackbushe 1978, no video screens then but truly amazing.

He remains my one of my favorite song wtiters of all time, maybe 2rd only to the late great Alan Hull, and Blood on the Tracks remains one of my favorite all time fav albums.

Got free tickets the day before the gig, so we drove the 4hrs to Cardiff to watch the gig. I did wonder travelling to the gig how the old vocal chords would be at 70, as his voice was never that great.

But watching stevie wonder at glasto, a couple of years ago, which blew me away, i hoped bob was in good shape, and looked forward to the gig.

Saw 4 big artics at the back of the venue, how you need that much gear to create the absolutley dreadfull sound system is beyond me.

Despite this Mark knopfler put a half decent shift in, then the main event.

Nothing could have prepared my for shouting growl that followed, not even pete doherty on a bad night, it was horrendos, 2 old girls next to me were hard asleep b4 half time,no doubt to escape the pain. Bobs band- How such talented musicians could deliver such an uncoridinated racket i cannot understand, Cant understand how Mr Dylan thinks he can get away this, probably because he has, but dont try it again bob its all over now baby blue, enjoy the nice few quid this mamouth tour has no doubt made for you, have a nice retirement Mr Jokerman. T shirts were being flogged off for 2 quid each in the streets after the gig, which is more than id pay to see him again, this really was the last waltz
